Given the band's preference for oblique and lengthy song titles - not to mention its cumbersome name - This is a Process of a Still Life is more than a bit reminiscent of Canada's experimental rock band, Godspeed You Black Emperor.
But with a more traditional array of rock instruments, and a truly fine sense of constructing songs and melodies, This is a Process of a Still Life manages to avoid merely aping its brethren.
